Welcome to Happiness For Life, a blog on the miracle of life. My pen name is Peace Bella and my real name is Theresa. My life was given to me by my parents, and you can see my parents below. Above, you see my childhood photo, of me climbing up the stairs at Haw Par Villa.
In my younger days, I often dream of climbing up stairs and sometimes falling down. Now I realized that I am trying to climb up to heaven. During my childhood days, I did not like to go catechism class, which I regret now as I want to know more about my faith. I questioned about why I exist and why there is suffering in life. I prayed for God to tell me, to talk to me.
As I grow, I always prayed to Jesus to help me in my studies. My mother also asked me to study hard. And so I worked hard and finally finished my education at the National University of Singapore, getting a Degree. Then I started to work and then got married.
In the beginning our plan was to have 2 children. But I have 3 children now. And my father died last year. Now I am left with only my mother with me.
I think the purpose of life is to be happy and healthy, at the same time, to do what is right to do. I had found the precious gift of life and I am happy with that. But I still need to climb the stairs. I don't know how high heaven is.
