Char Kway Teow (炒果条)

Penang Fried Kway Teow from Malaysia Boleh (Great World)

First time tried Penang Fried Kway Teow at Great World when I went there on 28 March 2024.  I find that it was too dry and salty.  I only like the prawns and beansprouts.  I never managed to finish the whole plate of fried kway teow.  I prefer the Singapore style, wet and sweeter ones.

Its quite hard to find Fried Kway Teow at my place now.  Recently the one at Woodlands Mart also closed down already.  The one at Causeway Point was not that great.  At Marsiling Mall was too far.  But recently I went Marsiling Mall again and I saw new stalls.  Some of the old stalls selling Fried Hokkien noodles and Fried Kway Teow had closed down.  So this new stalls selling Fried Kway Teow, Fried Oysters, Fried Carrot Cake and Fried Hokkien Mee was not bad.  I like their Fried Kway Teow, Fried Oysters and Fried Carrot Cake.  The Fried Hokkien Mee I had not tried, but Ricsson tried and he did not finish it.  The chilli was too little and it looked very dry to me.

Fried Kway Teow From Marsiling Mall Le Le (乐乐)

Fried oysters from Marsiling Mall Le Le (乐乐)

The Fried Kway Teow from Marsiling Mall (Le Le) cost $4 for small ones and I asked for no cockles because Isaac don't like seafood.  So there are only fish cakes and bean sprouts and eggs in the fried Kway Teow.  I tried their black carrot cake before and I like it too. I like their Fried Kway Teow, its wet and not too salty but a little sweetness.  The fried oyster was not too salty and it was soft, its good.
