St Joseph Church
Yesterday was the feast day of St Joseph at Bukit Timah. The church celebrated her 179th year. There are so much changes over the years... the bare grounds where Richard and I had sat to take photograph many years back, had now transformed into beautiful objects. I had missed mass for so long. The last time I went to St Joseph Church for mass was 15 years ago. Yesterday we met at woodlands bus interchange at 8am. We intend to take bus 961 to the church. At the bus interchange, we could not find the berth for 961. Later we realized that it was at the old bus interchange, and on Sunday, we would only take 961M.
The bus journey took approximately 50min and after alighting we need to walk a short distance to reach the church entrance. It was so nice to be able to come to this church again. I had mass with my sister and brother-in-law at 930am. It was so good to have companionship to have people to attend mass with me.
When we reached the church, we walked around the church and went to Chapel of Resurrection to visit our departed loved ones there. We took so many photographs and we bought things from the booth. My sister paid $2 to do a henna on her hand.
This is a video I had made showing some external and internal of the church. I am still learning to make video and this is not the best but viewable.
Before the mass started, we went to sit down earlier. We got our seat near the choir. The mass started at 930am sharp, and throughout the mass whenever hymns were sung, the songs and music were wonderful, loud and clear. We loved it so much.
After the church, we went to Bukit Timah to buy lunch (frog legs).

Divine lot
Today is election day. I did not know who to vote. Before I went to the school, I wrote two sheets of notes with the party name, PAP and SDP. Then I folded the papers to be exactly the same. I do not know which is which later once I put them in my hands.

Malaysia Boleh
It is so hard to buy Cuttlefish Kang Kong nowadays. The one at Marsiling Mall closed down already. Good cuttlefish kang kong are so hard to find. Yesterday my sister, mum and me went Jurong Point's Malaysia Boleh food court. We were surprised to see the fried kway teow stall selling cuttlefish kang kong. Even though there were no pineapple in the dish, the overall taste of the dish was considered good. The cuttlefish was fresh and got reasonable amount. One plate of it cost $6.60.
My sister paid for the cuttlefish kang kong while I paid for the popiah. The popiah were not that nice. It was quite salty too. It cost $2.50 per roll.
This Malaysia Boleh at Jurong Point is bigger than the one I went at Great World. There were so many stalls; there were chicken rice, bak gu teh, kway stall, fried kway teow, fried oyster etc However the dessert stall was rather small, selling only green bean soup and three others soup only. There were no ice kacang or chendol.
