SG Bean Sprouts purchased from Giant
Purchased a packet of SG Bean Sprouts from Giant some time ago. It was vacuum packed. There was no date stated when it was packed. So I have no idea whether it was fresh a not. But it looked 'white' and there seemed to be no rotten ones from external view. So I bought it.
Back home, I opened it up, and was not very satisfied with it. It was so wet, mushy and the bean sprouts were bruised. I wanted to break the root but it was not crisp at all. After plucking a few, I finally gave up. I only managed to have like one third of it left to cook.

I used the bean sprouts to cook Fried White Bee Hoon. I added in frozen prawns, vegetables and bean sprouts. I ate the Bee Hoon with Heng's Crispy Prawn Chilli. Heng's Crispy Prawn Chilli is very nice and it goes well with the Fried Bee Hoon.

The best bean sprouts is still those that buy from the market. But I saw Giant selling bean sprouts like those in market -- displayed in big baskets and you can pick your own. This is the best.
