White Hat

 

I am wearing a white hat during Thomas' baptism

I was searching for white beret where God showed me I was wearing a white rounded hat.  As I was searching, it came to my mind that I wore white hat before!  It was at Thomas' baptism and also on other occasion when I went out with Richard during those earlier days of my life.  I love that hat very much.  In fact I love that outfit that I wore in the photograph above.

The next occasion that I wore a white hat is during my First Holy Communion.  We were required to wear white and include a hat at that time.  During Clara's baptism, they were not require to wear any more hats.  In fact, for my three children, they were not require to wear any hat at all for their First Holy Communion.

The most recent time when I wear white hat was during our visit to Beijing.  I wore a white beanie kind of hat and am still having it at home.  God showed me the white cloud parasaurolophus dinosaur wearing a white hat and with long arms...

Learning Christ

 

Bought this at Church of St Francis of Assisi during my secondary school days

I bought this laminated card or book mark at Church of St Francis of Assisi.  I did not know that what was written behind the card.  Perhaps I did not know the real meaning of it at that time.  I only wanted Jesus to protect me and help me in my studies at that time.  It was only after Jesus said "Follow me" was my mind and heart 'opened', I saw the words 'Learning Christ' and it means so much to me then.

What it wrote:

"Learning Christ"

Teach me, my Lord, to be sweet and gently

in all the events of life -- in disappointments, in the thoughtlessness of others, in the insincerity of those I trusted, in the unfaithfulness of those on whom I relied.

Let me put myself aside, to think of the happiness of others, to hide my little pains and heartaches, so that I may be the only one to suffer from them.  

Teach me to profit by the suffering that comes across my path.

Let me so use it that it may mellow me not harden nor embitter me, that it may make me patient, not irritable, that it may make me broad in my forgiveness, not narrow, haughty and overbearing. 

May no one be less good for having come within my influence.  No one less pure, less true, less kind, less noble for having been a fellow-traveler in our journey toward Eternal Life.

As I go my rounds from one distraction to another, let me whisper from time to time, a word of love to Thee.  May my life be lived in the Super-natural, full of power for good, and strong in its purpose of sanctity.  

I hope from today onwards I can be like Christ, learn His Ways to be a better person.  

Parasaurolophus dinosaur at Fu Shan Garden

Just now I went to Fu Shan Garden to take a picture of the dinosaur, Parasaurolophus, a dinosaur that I seen in the sky in the year 2008.  Below is a sign at the location of the dinosaur to show you a little information about the dinosaur:

Like the parasaurolophus, I am a "herbivore", love vegetables, but I also eat seafood.  The Parasaurolophus that God had shown was a cute ones, with long arms and wore a special rounded hat (beret).  Besides protection for the head, the hat also shows the profession of a person.  It is a symbol of class and occupation.  However, I do not understand what it means to be wearing this kind of hat means.  The parasaurolophus that God shown also had a long arms.  A long arm also signify power as in the long arm of the law...

God raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.  And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church (Ephesians 1:20-22)

 Acts 1:1-11 Jesus Taken Up Into Heaven 

1 In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach 2 until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen. 3 After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. 4 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. 5 For John baptized with[a] water, but in a few days you will be baptized with[b] the Holy Spirit.” 6 Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” 9 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. 10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

According to Matthew 5:22, 29-30 and Luke 12:4-5, the suffering in our earthly bodies is small compared to the "fire of hell".  Therefore God's feelings of mercy (compassion) may at times move Him even to use earthly pain to try to keep us from far greater eternal pain.  For this reason God had come to help me.  God does not have to make up special pain just for us.  In this world, which has left God, pain is already with us!  But God can sometimes use that pain to help us.  God sends "Judgments" even before the final judgment.  

The Lord disciplines those He loves... Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in His holiness (Hebrews 12:6,10)

I wondered how I am going to learn from Jesus when I cannot even see him or question him, or hear him speak.  But I heard him, and through him, I encountered God too.  Thanks to the Holy Spirit.

In His Time

Just like how God had communicated with me through the heart and mind, and through dreams, God will reveal himself to you in your life as well.  He will do it in his time, as long as you sincerely ask him.  "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."  (Matthew 7:7-8)

"God, please show yourself to me."  This was what I asked for when I was young.  But God did not show himself to me then.  Perhaps God wants me to learn and experience life first and finally reveal himself in his time.  Anyway, God showed up, communicated with me and what's next?  

I need God to show me the way.  Richard had left the family and he is now married.  Soon after the paper work is done, he got married!  He wore a cross on his neck.  Is that what a disciple of Jesus should do?  

Yesterday I looked through the old stuff and I found a photograph of my first holy communion.  It says God Lives and God Loves.  Take and eat, This is my body.  Take and drink, This is my blood.  Four decades ago, I was at the church receiving my first holy communion.  What does it mean by God Lives?  I do not even know.  Now God still lives, but why is there a broken marriage now.  We spent so much money on the wedding photographs and it was kept in the cupboard to collect dust.  Then in the end we parted.  He said Isaac is my birthday present, and he left us for another woman...

I need God to show me the way, guide me to my next chapter of life.

Come across this article about the author's personal experience with God.  It was rather similar to mine as I recall and it was so nice to know that I am not the only one.  It is so nice to read of such Faith story.  

In the year 2006, I started blogging.  I started with Blogsvertise where I wrote about why I started blogging.  I remembered my bank account only got 3 digit figures.  Richard was working from home too.  He helped me to publish my blogs at peacebella.com, peaceinspire.com, peacemotivation.com and peaceinspiration.com besides all the blogspot.com.  Soon,  I had advertisers came looking for me and I have opportunities to blog for advertisers too.  

While blogging, writing everyday on the computer, I experienced something unusual.  "Music" or "Tune" just came popping out from the heart and brain.  That was on 25 July 2007, Richard's birthday.  I did not know what tune was that.  But I know it was my sister's or brother's song, songs which they listened to.  I called my sister, asked her, but she did not tell me the answer.  Later I searched the internet, YouTube, and eventually found out that the song was Chiquitita.  I was so touched to know the song, first time I listened to the song and the title means little girl.  

Similarly, the author of the article experienced " a tune popped into her head, like a jingle you hear on television that stays with you the entire day"...  see the image below:

 That was how God was trying to contact me and the author.  The lyrics of the song Chiquitita was like what God was trying to tell me.

   

 The story behind the song Chiquitita -- Chiquitita is a song by the legendary Swedish pop group ABBA. Lyrically, Chiquitita sees the singer encouraging a good friend Chiquitita, who is downcast and sorrowful, to look at the brighter side of life and not let their sorrow to enchain and control them.
